His Truth, Our Mission
Veritas Missionis
We love art and music here at St. Michael Catholic School. Children love arts education; it is ‘hands on!" Fine Arts teach students skills that help with patience, teamwork, persistence, and improvement. They become great observers (scientists), careful measurers (mathematicians), and critical thinkers (social sciences), as well as gaining an appreciation for aesthetic learning. Many students find life-long passions as they develop skills and talents in drama, painting, music, dance, or sculpture.
“The fine arts, but above all, sacred art, of their nature are directed toward expressing in some way the infinite beauty of God in works made by human hands.”
-Catechism of the Catholic Church 2513
"For you, O LORD, have made me glad by your work; at the works of your hands I sing for joy."
-Psalm 92:4
